On a lighter note, Rachel shared her new plan to convert everyone to have a mix of Android and Apple devices to enjoy the best of both. She excitedly talked about her new iPad Pro and Magic Keyboard. The crew then discussed the upcoming Apple event on May 7th where new products would likely be announced.
It was then time for the highly anticipated showcase performances! Nora beautifully sang the hymns "Blessed Assurance" and "Amazing Grace", filling the virtual room with her velvety voice.
Rachel shared the suspenseful original story she created using an AI tool called Udio. The spooky tale, titled "In the Dead of Night", featured eerie sound effects and kept everyone on the edge of their seats. The team praised her creative storytelling and editing skills.
Next up was JC's soulful cover of John Legend's "All of Me" that he recorded at a karaoke place called Round One. His smooth vocals impressed everyone. JC also shared his drum solo that he's been practicing for an upcoming spring recital in June. The crew was excited to eventually hear the recording of his solo and duet performance.
Rachel played two more AI-generated audio pieces she created - dramatic film scores called "Crest of Destiny" and "Shadows of Death". The team marveled at how professional and immersive they sounded, like real movie soundtracks.
With the showcase complete, the crew spent some time joking around together, with Rachel "punishing" George, Haylie, and Salvis for some playful comments by killing them off in silly imaginary scenarios. The witty banter had everyone laughing.
